Abstract:Climate is the natural environment which the mankind depends on for living. Climatic factors may impair human health, promote patient recovery, and increase the resilience of human immune system, which could be different associated with personal corporeity. This study reviews the relationship between human health and climatic factors including temperature, humidity, sunshine, air pressure, and air pollution, as well as the climate-prone illness in the 4 seasons. Meanwhile, the study introduces the healthcare values and characteristics of high-quality climate resources that lie in seasides, high mountains, forests, hills, and plains, and emphasizes some issues of healthcare depending on climate from perspective of seeking benefits and avoiding harms. Based on the review of relevant researches on the relationship between climate and health and the climate suitability assessment for healthcare, this study presents the future research directions of climate healthcare in combination with the development of health industry and integration economy of Cure and Care.
