Abstract:The influence factors of snow-to-liquid ratio of a snowstorm in Shandong Province from 6 to 8, November, 2021 has been analyzed by using the ground meteorological observation data, intensive ground observation data, and ERA5 hourly reanalysis data (0.25°?0.25°), and the influencing factors of the snow-to-liquid ratio were studied. Results show that: The distribution of mean snow-to-liquid ratio in this snowstorm process is generally characterized by large in the north and small in the south, large in the west and small in the east. The snow-to-liquid ratio in the early snowfall period is relatively small, while it in the middle and late snowfall period is relatively large. The snow-to-liquid ratio is smaller in the area with higher air temperature and higher specific cloud liquid water than that in the area with lower air temperature and lower specific cloud liquid water. The snow-to-liquid ratio is negatively correlated with the surface air temperature, surface temperature. The correlation between surface air temperature and snow-to-liquid ratio is the largest. After snow blanketed the ground, the surface temperature has no significant correlation with the change of snow-to-liquid ratio.
