Abstract:This paper uses the daily temperature observation data of Shandong province from 1960 to 2023 to analyze the occurrence time of the highest and lowest temperature extremes in Shandong province and the characteristics of the record-breaking temperature since 2000. The results show that: From 1960 to 2023, the maximum temperature record appeared later than the temperature minimum, the highest and lowest annual temperature records are most commonly distributed in June and August, respectively, while the lowest annual temperature records mostly appear in January. The maximum value record during the seasonal transition period appeared later, , and the minimum temperature record in February and March appeared earlier. In most ten days, the maximum / minimum value of the temperature is the increasing trend. The linear trend rate of the lowest temperature is greater than that of the average temperature is greater than that of the highest temperature. The increasing trend of minimum temperature in ten days is greater than the maximum temperature, and the increasing trend of maximum temperature in the first half of the year is greater than that in the second half of the year. Since 2000, the number of the temperature maxima flat or record is more than the minimum temperature, The maximum annual minimum temperature and maximum annual temperature equaled the record and broke the record most frequently, the maximum and minimum annual maximum temperatures have the highest average record breaking amplitude, while the minimum annual minimum air temperature has the lowest record breaking frequency and amplitude. In the western part of Shandong province, extreme temperatures leveled or record-breaking more often than in the eastern Peninsula. The record-breaking range of the maximum temperature of each ten days is greater than the temperature minimum value, among which the minimum temperature and average temperature maximum are the largest, and the record-breaking peak in the seasonal alternating period, while the minimum temperature is relatively small.
