    基于新一代天气雷达探测资料,结合探空、地面实况资料及灾情调查报告,对2024年7月5日山东爆发性龙卷天气的环境物理量、风暴演变、龙卷风暴低层小尺度涡旋及双偏振特征进行了分析。结果表明,温带气旋形势下,9个龙卷都出现在地面低压中心的东或东北方,低空急流明显加强,低空垂直风切变明显增大,是龙卷爆发关键环境因子。准线性对流系统内的超级单体或者其前侧暖区新生发展起来的超级单体风暴是爆发龙卷的直接缔造者,强涡旋中心的快速下降或低层局部径向风的迅速增大,是小尺度龙卷涡旋产生的前兆。风暴低层1km高度之上的最大径向速度差明显大于1km之下的最大径向速度差,风暴低层1km之上涡旋强度对龙卷提前预警更具有指示意义。东明龙卷破坏性最强,母体风暴上升气流最强,低层龙卷碎片宽度约2km,顶层高度达到9km左右,呈现分散性状态,最大宽度约4km。

    Abstract:

    Using CINRAD data, sounding data , automatic meteorological station data and disaster investigation reports, the environmental physical variations, storm evolution , low-level small-scale vortex and dual polarization characteristics of outbreak tornadoes in Shandong on 5 July 2024 are analyzed. The results show that all nine tornadoes generated to the east or northeast of the ground low-pressure center, with significantly strengthened low-level jet streams and increased vertical wind shear at low altitudes, which are key environmental factors for tornado outbreak during an extratropical cyclone. Supercells within quasi-line convective systems or newly developed supercell storms in the warm zone in front of QLCS are efficient in producing tornadoes. The rapid decrease of the strong vortex center or the rapid increase of part radial velocity in the low level are precursors to the generation of small-scale tornado vortices.The maximum radial velocity difference above 1km in the low level of the storm is significantly greater than that below 1km. The intensity of vortices above 1km in the low level of the storm is more indicative for early warning of tornadoes. Dongming tornado is the most damaging and lethal tornado, the parent storm has the strongest updrafts. The width of low-level tornadic debris signature (TDS) is about 2km, and the top of TDS reaches about 9km, showing a dispersed state with a maximum width of about 4km.
